Dear James,

This week was the Adams Family Reunion (your gma and gpa's family).

On the first day we went to a graveyard where some of ancestors were buried, then we went to Adams park and shot off water guns and ate some watermelon. Next we went to the train station and did a photo scavenger hunt. You were getting really warm and we tried to keep you nice and cool.

The next day you went on your very first hike. I carried you up Ensign Peak in your new hiking backpack. And grandpa doug carried you down. We then went to This is the Place park and walked around and even saw the Andrus Halfway House.

The Last day was a nice relaxing day we went up to SLC and then took some family pictures later that evening.

You really loved hanging out with all your (2nd) cousins and playing with family.

You are 8 months today! So amazing how time flies.

Today your Uncle Guck Guck (Garrett) came over to play with you and took this picture of you playing with the dogs tail.

You love your uncle. He likes to come over and babysit you and you guys have so much fun.

Your Gma and Gpa came to visit today! They came a up early for the family reunion next week.

Ok so now we really had to lower your crib. You have been able to pull yourself to standing for a long time but you couldn't really figure out how to go from laying down sitting....but now that you're crawling we defiantly had to lower it.

You love that you can now hang on to the sides and jump all day. And now I'm not worried that you are going to fall out!

Today was the first Father's Day that I've celebrated as a father. I can't tell you how happy I am to be your father. I love coming home from work when you're always so excited to see me. You always welcome me home with a big smile and an excited gasp.

We went up to Midway today for your cousin Calder's baby blessing. What a treat for you! We were lucky enough to be there on a day when Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the quorum of the twelve apostles was presiding over the meeting. He knows your great grandma and grandpa Adams really well and he was very happy to meet you.

Everyone at Garth and Deanne's house was so happy to see you. There were quite a few people you had never met before and they all just raved about how cute you are.

You and your mom give my life real meaning. I'm so happy that you're my son and that I'm lucky enough to be your dad.

You did it you finally learned to crawl! You're not just scooting anymore, you are really crawling! I just think it's amazing how one day you can crawl and then the next you can! I is really amazing! I love watching you grow.

Dear James,

Today we had a playgroup and we went over to the University Mall. We had fun walking around and then playing in the tree.

There was a kid that kept bugging you and wanted to play with all your toys.

But he finally left and you could play by yourself again.

Oh and you are so close to crawling! Any day now....
