Today you had you 4 month check-up. You are growing up and doing so well and you are advanced for your age.

You are 25.5 inches long (75%), Weigh 13.8 (25%) and your head is 42.4 cm (75%)

This means you are long and skinny (but a good skinny)!

Also today was the first day that you got to have some baby oatmeal! And you loved it! You got it all over yourself and thought it was the best thing ever! You were so eager to try and do it all by yourself.

Another first for you today as well is that you spent your first night in your crib! You cried a little but then fell right to sleep.

Today you got to meet your cousin (2nd cousin) Madison. We went over to visit Great-Grandma and Grandpa Andrus and Daddy's cousins (Melissa and Jeff) were there with little Madison.

Madison was born the day after you.

Dear James,

You are 4 months old today! You are getting so big I can't believe that 4 months ago you were born. You are just so smart and fun to play with and I love you so much.

Today we went to go see another BYU women's basketball game with Grandpa and Grandma Edmunds. You loved it again and thought it was so much fun.

Then you got all tuckered out and fell asleep during the second half.

You love to play with your daddy and you guys have so much fun together. Every time daddy comes home you lung towards him so he can hold you. He knows how to make you laugh, and I just think it's great!

Sometimes you just play and play and play that you just get all tuckered out and fall asleep still holding on to your toys.

You're just so adorable!

You do not like tummy time. I put you on your tummy and the first thing you do is roll over!

So in order to keep you on your tummy I have to put a book in front of you so you can read (toys don't work).

You love the 5 little ducks song. No matter whats going on you stop and what you are doing and "sing" it with me. It always makes you happy. Sometimes if you get grumpy and don't want me to stop the song then becomes the 500 little ducks!

But you love to sing! You love it when I sing too. Anything and everything goes. I try to sing mostly Primary songs but we sing Katy Perry, Wicked, Disney...

You are going to be quite musical when you get a little bit bigger

Today you went to your first BYU Women's Basketball game. You absolutely loved it! You just kept staring at all the players and were so enthralled by it all. You even got to sit in your very own seat!

Also there is a famous BYU basketball player who's name is James but everyone knows him as Jimmer, and so since you have the same name grandma made you a shirt that said "My name is James but you can call me Jimmer". It was very cute.

Happy Valentines Day! You had many secret admirers who all thought you were very cute and adorable but you were mommies valentine!

You also looked very dashing in your cute little "tuxedo"
