Today we had your Birthday Party! Grandma and Grandpa came up just in time to help celebrate.
You were tired and ended up napping right before everyone showed up, so when you did wake up you were a little cranky but warmed up fast. You had so much fun!

We had a chili bar and lots of yummy treats.

Happy Birthday Monkey! You are 2 years old today! You are getting so big! I can't believe how fast you have grown up!

You love to help clean up and even get mad at me if I try and help you
You just love to snuggle whenever you can

You love to pray even if it's just "Heavenly Father Amen"
You love nursery and your teachers always say that you are so perfect and share with everyone

You love to go to church and visiting the temple

Dear James,

Today you pooped for the first time in your potty! I am so proud of you!
You started to get that look like you needed to go so I asked if you wanted to poop in your potty and you were so excited.
This means we are one step closer to finishing your potty training!

Dear James,
 Today we went to Jump Around Town with a lot you your friends. You all had so much fun! There were slides and a big jump pillow and jump houses. Your favorite was the Jump pillow. Everyone had such a great time! I can't wait till we get to go again!

Happy Valentines Day!
We had fun today! You and I played games and read books in the morning. Then daddy came home for lunch just in time for you to nap in his arms while I made lunch. Then we played some more and you help me get dinner ready.
After dinner you had fun knocking on the door and leaving gifts and then answering the door and getting a little gift for yourself!
You got a stuffed Dumbo, some clothes, a water bottle, a big ball, and some candy!
You had such a great day!
You then got to skype with Grandpa Greg! He love you so much and you think he is so funny!

When it came time for your bed time routine you cuddled up with daddy like always and we read your book and said our prayers and then the most amazing thing happened! We put you in your crib and you didn't even whimper! Usually you cry for a minute or two but quickly fall asleep. But tonight you gave us both kisses and hugs, waved bye bye, laid your monkey down and laid down next to him and fell asleep. I think I heard you talking to yourself a few minutes later but it was so cute!
You are growing up so fast and you are so smart and mature for your age!

Today we started swimming again! You love the water and you love to go swimming.  We are going to have so much fun these next couple of weeks!

I wanted to help you do something fun for everyone for Valentines day so we took some pictures of you holding a sign for everyone.
