You were so cute today! You were playing with your toes like you normally do but then you grabbed both of them then let go and shot your arms out and your legs out. And then you thought this was the funniest thing ever so you kept doing it.

Your 3 months old! I can't believe it. You are getting so big and I love watching you grow and learn. I just love playing with you everyday. We read books all day and then you like to play with your toys. You don't really like to take naps though, you are just so eager to learn.

You're are so much fun!

You LOVE bath time! You love to splash and kick and play in the water. You splash so much that you get mommy and daddy all wet too!

Some times you like to take naps in the water if you're really tired.

I can't wait to take you swimming when it's warmer.

You are so curious. You are always looking around and trying to figure things out and you're not satisfied till have have explored everything. You also don't give up on things. For example when you figured out that your feet were attached to your legs, you stared at them all night trying to figure out how you could get these things into your mouth. It was so funny to watch you!

I love watching your brain work!

You love to read books! We read everything together and you just stare and talk to the book. Your favorite book is Babies.

Grandma use to read this to me when I was little like you. It doesn't matter what is going on if I pull out this book it has got your full attention.

I also make sure that you don't watch TV, you're just to little and it's more important for us to play and read and talk instead of watching TV. (but sometimes I catch daddy letting you watching it every once in awhile which is ok)

Every morning when I go to pick you up you greet me with a great big smile. Every night while I'm rocking you to sleep you always have to peek through your eyes just to make sure I'm still there and when you see that everything is still ok you smile in your sleep.

Today on 1/11/11 you are 11 weeks old!

Dear James,

Today you rolled from your back to your stomach to your back again! You were trying to reach for something then when you realized that resulted in you being on you tummy you just kept on rolling! It was very cute!

You are so wonderful to talk too! You will just talk and talk to me all day. You will use whole sentences and ask questions and just go on and on. You'll laugh and giggle and then act like your crying then just keep on going with your story. I love it! You are so much fun!

The last couple of days you have been reaching for things and trying to grab things. It's been so much fun to watch you concentrate and grunt as you try reach for things.

Also I'm pretty sure that your favorite color is blue. You love everything thats blue and go for those things first.

And I think you might be left handed but I'm not quite sure yet.

Today you woke up happy and we played and talked and read books all day long. Then we took you for your doctors appointment. You were so good and the doctor said that you are very smart (something we already knew). You weighed 11 lbs 12oz , 24 in, and your head was 41 cm. You are getting so big! You then got some shots which didn't make you too happy but once we got in the car you fell asleep and felt a little better.

The rest of the night you just wanted to cuddle and sleep which is fine because I love to hold you and cuddle with you and sleeping is always good when you don't feel good.

And don't worry you don't have to get any more shots till you're 4 months old.

Welcome to a new year! This year is going to be so exciting for you!

You'll learn to crawl and walk. You may get a couple teeth and eat some big boy food. You may even say a couple of words.

And most important you will turn ONE!

I'm so excited to be there with you as you make these big changes in this next year!

You loved your first Christmas! You were so excited when everyone was telling that Santa was coming and that he was going to bring you peasants. You even stayed up all night that when it was time to open the gifts you fell asleep. Santa brought mommy and daddy a crib for you and you got a staking toy.

You also got a lot of books and toys that you loved to play with.

On December 26th 2010 you turned 2 months and you got your baby blessing. You were lucky and got to have it done and Gma and Gpa's house after church. Everyone was able to come too! Daddy did the blessing and he told you so many good things. I am excited to see what a boy and man you will become.

You also looked so adorable in your blessing outfit. Grandma told you that you should look angelic so you closed your eyes and slept through the whole thing.

I want to write to you to let you know how wonderful and amazing you are and let you know how much you are loved by everyone who knows you.

You are now 2 months old and I thought I would tell you a little about yourself and your beginnings.

First off let me tell you about me and your daddy. My name is Megan and your daddy is David. We got married in the LDS Jordan River Temple in May 2008. Then in February 2010 we found out that you were on your way to meet us. We were so excited!

Then on October 26, 2010 at 12:44am you were born by caesarean (one day before your due date). You weighed 8 lbs 5 oz and 21 inches long.
