Dear James,
Today we went to go visit daddy at work.
You were dressed for a good day of work!
You were just so excited to help daddy with all his work
Later we decided to go over to the Provo Beach Resort. You really wanted to go surfing on the real surf boards but you were too small so this had to do.

Today you are 5 months old! You are growing up so fast!
Although today you weren't too happy, you were running a temp of 102.2 so we took you into the doctors. You did not like it at all! And after ruling out teething, strep and ear infections they decided to get a urine sample.
You will pee the second your diaper is off, the second you have a new diaper on, you'll pee on me and on your self but when you have to pee into a bag you don't pee for 2 hours!

You still didn't feel good when we got home so you went straight to bed and slept the whole night.

Dear James,
Today you had your first playgroup! It was you and 3 other girls and you were such a flirt.
There was one point when one of the girls started whining and so one by one you all started to whine. And I'm sorry but we all had to laugh.
After everyone left you had fun making funny faces for the camera.
We then went to BYU to see where daddy is going to be working and you really wanted to get the baseball bat that you saw because you cant wait to play when you get a little bigger.

Dear James
Guess what you can do!
Thats right you can sit up all by yourself! You still can't do it for very long but still you can sit and hold yourself up for a couple of minutes. You have been doing this since Saturday night/Sunday. I am so proud of you!
Also look who likes to hide under your bed.
Fry is your buddy and he likes to make sure that he is always close to you so since he can't get in bed with you he just hangs out underneath it.

Dear James
We walked to the park today and you got to swing in the big boy swings and you had a blast. You were laughing the whole time! You even got to slid down some slides.
Then we went on a long long walk and you were awake the whole time just looking at everything but once we got on our block you finally fell asleep and took a nice long nap.
We played and played some more when you woke up.
You got tuckered out and fell asleep with daddy.

Dear James
The weather has been getting warmer so we have been going on walks and sitting outside. You love sitting outside and watching the cars go by or just hang out and play with your toys.
You also started pulling your legs in and then stretching way out and then pulling back in and then stretching as far as you can. I think it's really cute.

Dear James
You got a new toy piano and you like to play it. At first you didn't like it because you were confused as to why it made noise every time you touched it but now you bang on it and try to sing at the same time.
We needed to head over to BYU today to help daddy find a classroom and it got cold so daddy carried you in his jacket and you thought it was so much fun!
